APPLICATION NOTICE IN THE PATENTS COUNTY COURT

 

  1. Application Notice (to be stamped with the fee and left at Court)
  2. Your copy of the Application Notice (to be stamped with the issuing office seal and kept by you as your original)
  3. An additional copy for each respondent to the application (to be stamped with the issuing office seal and taken away by you for service)
  4. An extra copy because you either will have undercounted, or will convince yourself while sitting on tube travelling to court that this is what you have done.
  5. Issuing fee of £65 [1]in the form of either:
    1. Cash; or
    2. Cheque made out to H M Courts Service;
    3. Cheque guarantee card if (b) is a personal cheque.

Note: Credit cards, debit cards and Oyster cards are not accepted.

  1. Map showing the High Court building’s complex so that you can find Room E01, the fee’s room on the lower ground floor in the south east corner of the
  2. Map showing the location of the Patents County Court at Field House, 15-25 Breams Buildings, London, EC4A 1DZ, where you will take the original, endorsed with the fee paid, plus the copies referred to in 2 - 4 above in order to have the application formally issued and an appointment fixed.
  3. The telephone number of the Patents County Court Clerk (020 7073 4251) – there is only one clerk and no back up, with the result that the clerk is not always able to man the office (e.g. she is required in court), so it is worth phoning in advance.
